The summer programme got off to a flying start with the Brighton-based Brass Fusion who played a varied programme of traditional brass band music and adaptations of other popular orchestral favourites, such as Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man. In spite of windy conditions, the acoustic of the stage worked well, and the concert attracted more than 100 guests as well as numerous onlookers. Many commented on how the development of the Terraces was long overdue and expressed interest in future events. Thanks to Brass Fusion we have an exciting start to the season.
